I NEED help using shopping cart (for downloading)

i made a site for someone and he is a musician , he wants to sell songs ...and he wants the songs to be download and the customer pay for downloding.. using paypal.
how can i do that.
i can not do that with the shopping cart.. . because this shopping cart that included in the software is for sell items via mail...or what ever but not for downloading......
is there any thing to use for shopping cart and to include in the site or do something for example through itunes....i am just saying ...but the point is i can not find anything...
need help for anyone everybody please....

Hello Jim,
You can receive the orders and then, once the payment has been verified the songs needs to be sent manually or a link to download them.
The program cannot verify the payments and this is not allowing to sell files automatically.
What you could do is set a private section with the songs and then, once the payment has been verified send to the customer the username and password to go to the private section and download the files.

thank you for your advise but can you tell me because i am looking how to do it and i cannt...
i mean i use the audio/video button i upload the song but where i need to do the settings for download or anything....

Hello Jim,
To download the songs you need to use the link function as example in the text object where you select "File or URL" and then you select the song file.
In this way with the right click option it will be possible to choose to download it.
As alternative you can zip them so every browser will automatically download them instead of trying to open them if the browser is set to open audio files.
