Include local PDF files in the PDF widget

At the moment it appears that you can only use the PDF widget to include a PDF file that is already on the web. It would be very useful if you could include a local PDF file automatically in the way that you can for graphics.

Sorry to comment on my own posting...
Currently you seem to have to FTP the PDF to the website and then you can use that web address to refer to in the widget. Seems a bit long winded.
Is there an easier way?

As alternative you can use the HTML Code object where you add in the expert tab the pdf file and then in the pdf wiget you add as URL as example www.yourwebsite.com/files/the-name-of-the-pdf-file.pdf

It would be nice to be able to add the local file directly - as, for example, with images.
