As noted above, there are many spelling and grammatical errors on your website. Even if it came up first on Google, I would never book your services. If the website is sloppy and poor, I immediately get a sense that your services will be just as bad. If you don’t care enough to make an excellent first impression with your website, then I don’t care to hire you. It’s that simple.

Hi Derek,

unfortunately, http://www.upvcdoorlockrepairs.co.uk/ has not been set as responsive. I kindly ask you to activate the responsive website option and export the website, so I can see what the problem is and tell you how you can solve it.

Thanks! Kind regards.

A simple message to you MYRON A, i wonder what the,,, A,,,stands for,,,,,, which is quite easy,

You have a very poor attitude and you're a very rude person,

This website x5 is a learning curve for all beginners. just like me and many others.

Since you know nothing about my business and the excellent service i give my customers,

i suggest you keep your head up where it already is up your A..

Nobody wants to read your stupid remarks because you have not got anything better to do,

you should try and be more helpful instead of trying to be insulting, you obviously don't have a life, I would suggest you get one.

I can't tell by your picture if your a man or a female, i think you look somewhat like a man anyway, look me up sometime i wouldn't think twice about knocking you out you horrible person.

Hi Derek,

I am not the best person to help you with technical stuff like responsiveness and SEO - there are others much more able who can hopefully do this. Jamie is certainly one of those!

I am happy to look through your site and help you sort out spelling and grammar though. I saw that you have already fixed up some of this but there is more that you can work on. If you like, I can go through the site, identify some areas that could be improved and email you the bits you could edit. Let me know if that would be useful to you.

Myron's comments are justified - he is not saying he wouldn't book your service himself, he is saying that the public viewing two different websites; one which is designed well, performs well, and reads well, will have better response than one which has little care given to its deployment - no matter how good your service is.

It pays to do a good job and make your site look totally professional, in every detail.  Even if you rank #1, a poorly reading website may still get bypassed for your competition who ranks lower!

Your comments to Myron are a little brutal - he is just trying to help you like the rest of us.

I do not see much point in criticising one another.

Derek, did you work out your issues with responsive layout?

I could have sworn it was responsive earlier today (my time), but now it is again fixed width.

If the text "jumbles" it sounds like the cells are rearranging themselves to better fit on smaller devices, one way to beat this (in evo you cannot control the order of the cells unfortunately) is to only use full width cells on the page (you can still insert an image in a text cell with appropriate justification) or at least keep everything symetrical.

Can you perhaps provide a screen shot (step 4 pages) of the worst affected page?

Hi Derek,

I am sorry for any misunderstanding that may have happened here.

Are you still having issues? Please  activate the responsive website option and export the website, you can choose to upload the project onto a subfolder if you prefer, in this way I will be able to better understand the issue and help you solve it.

Please find here a guide about this topic, which I am sure can be helpful: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/es/post/169726

Thanks! Kind regards.
