Website X5 V9 Crashes when loading 
Auteur : Linda W.Bought a new laptop with Wimdows 8. Installed X5 V9 and added licence details all was well. Has been running for a while but then when I tried to load it, part way through loading I get a box saying that an error has occured, this application will be closed and the project file will be save in a temporary copy that can be restored at startup.
What ever I do the program will not load. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, same problem. I have even restored my laptop back to a date when I know it was working and that didnt fix the problem either. I even reinstalled it to a differant folder and re registered the licence. Still will not work
I downloaded the latest trial copy (V11) and installed that and it works fine
Help would be appreciated.

We will help you with this as much as we can.
I know that you have already reinstalled V9 to a different folder, etc. - but have you tried downloading the latest release of version 9 from here:
http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads
Try running that particular setup file, which is much newer, version 9.1.12.1975
Right-click on the file and select 'Run as administrator'
This may cure your problem... if not then please check Windows for updates, and if you still have issues after that feel free to revert to us.
We may be able to help you recover your project file even if it is damaged, but please try the above steps first.
