Hello Veneta,
What version of WebSite X5 are you working with... Evolution 11?
Are you exporting the project as an IWZIP file in Step 5?
Are you using Image Objects for the photos, or are you using images within the Text Object, or something else?
Where are the photos stored? Are they on the same computer as WebSite X5, or are they on a network location, or somewhere else?
Could you please try holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5, and then exporting the project afresh as an IWZIP file in Step 5. Check to see if the photos are then exported correctly as part of the project.
Please let us know how you get on.
Kind regards,
Paul

What version of WebSite X5 are you working with... Evolution 11? Evolution 10, but I will move after to 11. I have this version too
Are you exporting the project as an IWZIP file in Step 5? In Evolution 10- I export Step 3. I have tryed step 2 , but there are many files after i don't know how to use
Are you using Image Objects for the photos, or are you using images within the Text Object, or something else? - I Use Image Objects
Where are the photos stored? Are they on the same computer as WebSite X5, or are they on a network location, or somewhere else? - They are in folder Google drive in the same computer
Could you please try holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5, and then exporting the project afresh as an IWZIP file in Step 5. Check to see if the photos are then exported correctly as part of the project. - When I hold down the 'CTRL' key - the preview Mode is not starting.
Thank you for your replies, Veneta...
Apologies if I wasn't clear enough... I meant do you use the option 'Export the Project' in Step 5 of WebSite X5 to produce a file which you can then import to your other computer? There are no export options in Step 2 or Step 3 of WebSite X5. Can you clarify that you are definitely using a project file with an extension of .iwzip when you import into the other computer?
When I hold down the 'CTRL' key - the preview Mode is not starting.
You need to click on the 'Preview' link in WebSite X5 at the same time as holding down the 'CTRL' key... holding the 'CTRL' key on its own won't do anything... just enter the Preview mode as normal, with the exception that you hold down the 'CTRL' key as you do so.
Let us know how you get on, Veneta.

Sorry If I can't explain very well.
yes, i export the project and receive file- WebSite X5 Exported Project (.iwzip). About 4 GB.
I tryied to work on two computers , but every time when we move the project , we lost all photos in.
So, Now start again, i hope for last time.
With CTRL' key - the preview Mode - I didn exactly as you said , and the program freezing. Not responing at all. Now i save and restart .
It's OK, don't worry, you're explaining things just fine.
I would expect it to take a long time to rebuild the preview if you have about 4Gb of data and many photos, etc. - the program might not actually be frozen, it might just be working hard in the background gathering all the files together.
Please allow quite a bit of time for the process to complete.
Thanks Veneta...

Yes, I have so much work do rebuild now.
Please, tell me how to avoid it next time?
If I decide to move the project to another computer?
I know how is has to be, but why these mistakes happen?
When you create an IWZIP file for export to another computer WebSite X5 stores all text, images and other data within its internal library.
There should not be any errors of this nature as long as WebSite X5 can access all the photos that are part of your project at the exact point in time that you perform the export to IWZIP in Step 5 of WebSite X5.
So it's important that there are no restrictions on access to the location where your photos are stored, and also that there are no changes in file path, or file name. If WebSite X5 cannot find the photos because of directory permissions, or because the file name or path has changed in some way, then it will not be able to store the images in the IWZIP file.
Holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering Preview mode will force WebSite X5 to rebuild the Preview from scratch... if any images are missing in the Preview at that point then you should investigate why that is the case before performing a project export in Step 5.
Hope this makes things clearer, Veneta.
Good luck!
