I came back after a month or so to check if these issues were fixed, but I guess I should stay with version . 17 which is the less bugged of all.

Come on!  what's taking so long you guys?

Same here.  The latest version of Professional 12 keeps crashing.  I'm hoping I didn't waste my money.

Hello Tyson Polgardy,

Please try to repair the .NET Framework by following these steps:

To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:
http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Once done go to Control Panel then choose Programs and Features and then click on Turn Windows features on or off. Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718

Please keep me updated.

Almost all the crashes are related to the preview+responsive,  so for now,   try to develop the site WITHOUT responsive view and activate it when you are almost done, that way you will deal with at least 70% less hangs and your work flow will not suffer so much.

Hello Tyson,

Please try also in this case to install all Visual C++ libraries you find under following link by choosing always the X86 version:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

Let me know if this helps and in case under which function you experience this issue.

Many thanks!

Hello Tyson,

There's no need to remove the licence. Proceed to unlock the program by using the licence key and your email. It will always count as one install since it's the same computer.

Let me know if you have difficulties to unlock it.

Many thanks!
