Video not properly displayed in Entry Page

I am having difficulty displaying the full area of a video on the Entry Page. So far it usually shows a black area on one or more sides also, depending on the size chosen. This can be seen on my snapshot. I am using a standard MP4 format and a 16 second video of 1.2 Mb.

Optimum known settings would be helpful if anyone knows.

Well first of all try to keep file size to a mimum, do not use 4k, and ensure that your MP4 files are coded using H.264.
Then it should work.
