John, are you selecting the program from downloads in your profile? (your name, top right hand corner of this page in desktop view)

please disable the firewall and antivirus programs before downloading the software from the "Download" section of your Help Center account. 

If you're still having difficulties despite that, please send me some screenshots to show me what happens. Thank you in advance.

Yes

I shut down my firewall and antivirus and tried again with same result. I've downloaded the file a number of times and keep getting same result i.e. you can see in the screenshot. I select open and the 'checking security' message shows, followed by the screen flashing and then just left with the page as before.

John, have you tried renaming the file wsx5_ev12.exe and then running it? If it works you may not have to wait until after the weekend :-)

You may have to "show file name extensions" in Windows Explorer to achieve this.
