My pc crashed and now I cannot get back into the project I was working on - I keep getting the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
I have looked into the help that has been offered to others but I haven't a backup to use nor have I a duplicated iwprj file. Have I lost my work? I have been working on it for ages and would be really f'd off if I have to redo it all....

here is the folder and it's contents
Hello Anthony,
If you select the project and you click on backup on the right in the program is there no backup file you can recover and then try to see if the project opens?
Many thanks!

no, sadly this didn't work - is there anything else I can try to open it, or at least find the information I was using?
Hello Anthony,
If the website has been uploaded online at least once you can copy the text and save the images to add these again in the program in a new project.
Many thanks!

It hadn't been uploaded. I guess I will have to start again... dammit!!

the funny thing is there are all the folders in the Icomedia folder for this project see attached image. Isn't there a way I can reintegrate them within a new project?

Hello Anthony,
The only thing you can do is to open the preview folder and then open the index.html file in a browser so you can copy the text you already had written to paste it in the new project.
You will also find all the images used in the folders in the preview folder so you won't need to search them again to add them faster.
Many thanks!

Yeah, I thought that might be the best option. Odd that in other programs 'save' actually saves everything whereas WebSite X5 has to have a specifically backed up folder if anything goes awry. It might be worth looking in to this for the next update - perhaps save will save in backup folder, or a popup to remind to backup before closing down. Just an idea!
