I have received a message saying my credits are expiring soon. Well if there was some stuff on the website that I wanted then I would use them up, so as it is I guess I am going to loose them. If I do then I am sorry but I will not be getting any more.

Peter, I got the same message, my credits were expiring in a month. I simply browsed through the optional objects and picked something. https://market.websitex5.com/en/objects
Better to just get something you "might" use someday than simply let them expire.
All credits expire after 12 months unfortunately.

I purchased the poll widget and that now does not work. I do not see why I have to purchase something that I may never need, out of all the widgets available on the site I have all but 3 or 4 I think, I have supported this company by purchasing all software from Ver8 upwards and all the pro versions too. Now I have to sign up to Update Protection Professional for another £160 a year why cant i just keep my credits until they release something i need ???
Incomedia it's time to address some issues that still exist.
1. Videos not deleting when deleted out of a project file
2. Poll widget not working from 13 to 14 update
3. Start making some widgets that are worth the credits we pay for them. most of this stuff can be found from 3rd partys free
4. I'm sure that there are lots more !!

Rant Over !
Dear Peter,
I am so sorry read about your discontent, particularly because you are a very long-time customer of ours.
I completely understand your point of view, but please consider that we have just aligned to other companies which have adopted the Credits system. Therefore, I have to confim that credits do have an expiration date, as you can see in our dedicated FAQ section. Also, we regularly send reminders, which become more and more frequent as the date approaches. I dully agree, though, that the communication about this particular aspect can be improved, so to avoid bad surprises.
Also, plese take into account that we often release new Objects, and you can also use credits to purchase Templates, which makes it easier and more convenient. Why don't you have a look there? Maybe you'll find something interesting: https://market.websitex5.com/en/templates
Finally, I have noticed that you have correctly reported the other issues you mentioned on separate posts: I am sorry for the incoveniences you have been experiencing, but I am sure that together we will find a solution.
Please, let me know if I can be of any help, I will be happy to help you further. Kind regards.
