You probably should not be using h1 inside your blog entries if an h1 tag is already generated automatically by the software.

As you reported, it is most useful inside pages, where you can know customize your headings better, but should avoid using the h1 in blog entries where it is already present

I will be more precise for my question : what are the rule for software to put H1 tag for blog article ? some of articles have H tag, some other have no tag : I want to understand ?

Where are the H tag ? No H in the body of blog article : whera are they ?

Hello Michel,

it you want add the tag H in your text of your article you can select it by the text editor:

I remember you to verify the automatic generate tag by step 1, Statistics,Seo.

I understand how to put H tag on blog article. My question is : I have H tag on old article (exactly H1 tag) without tu put them and without possibilities to see them when I edit the blog article. Sometimes H1 tag is on the title of the article, sometimes there are 2 or 3 H1 tags for 1 article (bad for referencment), and H1 tags take titles of other articles.

Please I am waiting a solution ...

I believe that the H1 tag is mandatorily insterted automatically by the software per blog entries. For this reason, when working with blog especifically, do not insert additional H1, but only H2 or higher, since they could create conflict with the programs default H1.

Thanks Stefano. I understand your solution. But the problem is sometimes there is a H1 tag (ok to use only H2), sometime no tag (error to use H2 without H1 before), sometimes 2 tags H1 (error also). I realyy don't understand the rules ...

This important for the SEO, the software gives correct response on screen

Hello,

Some news after controls : if you have 6 articles in the blog, the page /blog/index.php have 6 H1 tags. This is the same for the different "type" (date, categories, Author, balise, ...) : if you have to articles with the same month, you will hve 2 H1 tags for the "type month" . This is an software error regarding SEO rules ... Please could INCOMEDIA fix it for the next version (or give a date if not)

Other point : on the page Statistcs, SEO of the software, you can choose 2 options :

 The default was on 2 : normally it générate H1 tag with the title of the article, and we can explain the "default" H1 tag.

On my mind puting option 1 will delete the H1 tag for the title of blog page ... no change ! The H1 tag (and the multiple H1 tags !!!) will always be there.

Is my solution good or wrong ? IA solution to generate a new code for the website exist ? (i make CTRL + view : no change)

For your information I write an idea to have more manually action on SEO element for blog : title, description, H tag, ... Please Inform your developpers too.

Really I think it will be an important improvment for Website X5 to propose this options and for clients as me for better SEO.
