Page Seizes

I have the new version 16 and every time I try to load a table onto a page the programmes seizes up and I have to shut everything down and reopen. Ths happens everytime and I hahve nothing else running whe I try.

Does this happen in a new project?
If it is an imported/upgraded project from an earlier version, can you create a new page and add the table?
Can we assume you are creating the table and inserting content, or are you pasting from some other source?
