The program does not start - updating libraries  en

Dear Madam or Sir,

our customer has problem with WebSite X5 EVOLUTION 14. He started the program after two months and only the opening window was displayed and the green stripe "Updatong libraries" is loaded (in attachment). The program will not run.

Customer tried reinstall program, but now he has the same window during installation and he can not continue.

Can you help us, please?

Tereza, tell your customer to disconnect from the internet before running WX5 (remove network cable or disconnect wifi).

If this works the problem is almost certainly the security software (anti-virus, malware protection, firewall) or perhaps a vpn?

Hello,
thank you for help, when the customer disconnected the internet, the program could be started. What to do in antivirus now?

Tereza, if WX5 works and opens in a timely manner when there is no internet connection it is now necessary to find out which application is causing the issue. If it is the antivirus software then the logs should identify this and exceptions should be applied.

If you know the antivirus program is the problem you might advise us which program your client is using so we can advise how to resolve the issue, but as stated above, there are a number potential culprits. Sadly the problem could resolve itself tomorow with the next security update, so please check which application is the problem by having your client disable each security application in sequence.
