Could you please give a simple step by step on how to set a basic email on a contact page.
I just want to put a simple " send me a message " form on a page. Where I can just receive an email with someone's message. I do understand that I start with the "Contact form object"

With the object contact form you create rather a detailed contact page.
For a simple procedure, you can also use the "E-mail Address" link in, for example, a text object.There you can specify your e-mail address, subject, default for message and protection for e-mail address.
The contact form is described in the help / manual.
