Download from your portal here, top right next to your name, the full version and install that one.

That should do the trick.

Are you trying to update X5 v16 to v16.3.1

or are you trying to update v16.3.1 to v17.0.6

Irrespective I recommend following Andre's advise. Download each full version from your profile even if you have a full install already available on your PC. I know that v16.3.1 was updated without version change after the release of v17, it is possible the same is true of v17

Hi!

I kindly suggest you to follow Esahc and Andre's suggestions, you should solve this issue simply by downloading the program from the "Download" section of your account. 

If in spite of this you keep having troubles, please reboot your PC, disable your firewall and antivirus and start the installation procedure as administrator.

Is this your protest not to use v17 or will upgrade to v17 simply not work even after downloading the latest version through your profile.

It looks like the next update (v17.0.7??) may resolve most annoyances that I am aware of. . . .

This is not the protest?!?! I simply tell you what the problems that i have. I'm using the 17.0.6. version and i have the issues still present...

Hello x5,

Are you running the update or install as admin? If not try this.

Does the install work on another pc?

I just don't understand there are many users here that have the same issue and with alll that I have seen downloading the full version from portal and installing as admin has helped all of them.
