How about first page header and footer, that can differ from sub-page headers and footers. Better yet the ability to set different headers, footers, and background on every page.

Futhermore, please look at this tips&tricks http://answers.websitex5.com/post/6674 if you wish to have a different header in each page. This can be done by adding a slideshow and setting a different image for each page.
