How is registration validation completed?  en

I have set up Automatic Registration and am able to register, but when I try to login I get a messege that my registration has not been validated.  When I registered I did get an email advising that a new registration was made, but there is no way to reply and confirm or validate the registration.  I was expecting to receive an email after I registered asking me to confirm my email address, but I didn't get one.  Was I suppose to or is the valadation handled another way?

Hello Thomas,
You need to approve the registration. goto step 1 advanced TAB then acces managment and move the new account to the correct place from automatic registration to an group, there you can validate as well (edit user).

But the sender should get the validation message, if he vallidates this then he or she can acces.

oh sorry maybe some extra info: use button on top to update the acces management panel.

Also, after moving the registration to the proper group and edit to validate, the validation is not active until you re-export your site to the Web, if you don't do it via the WebSite X5 Manager App.

Yes, that's correct.  WebSite X5 needs to refresh the database for these operations to take effect, and the database is server side, so at least one export/upload is required.

if you make changes you need to upload afterwards.
