Blog page to set as the HOME page?  en

I want to make the BLOG page (where I would have some news) to be the HOME page (INDEX page) of the project.

I have tried to rename it to INDEX but BLOG pages are saved in the BLOG folder... so it won't work that way...

So, I must make a .htaccess file which would tell the server to load the BLOG page as the HOME (index) page?
I hope I got this right...
