This program will not let me import any photos as well
William,if you have not done so recently, please select the start button, power, restart to ensure there are no incomplete updates pending.
From the error message I assume that when you start WX5 you get this message before even selecting a project to open?
Can I assume you have uninstalled WX5 and not simply installed over the top?
Can you try deleting the current version folder in appdata before re-install?
You will normally find this folder in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Incomedia (if appdata is not visible, please show hidden files)
The folder to remove should be WebSite X5 - Evolution
As for photo import, are we talking about a brand new project or a project imported from an earlier version? Can you describe what happens (do you select and paste and nothing happens or is the option to import not available?)
Hi William,
thank you for getting in touch.
Please check if under C:\Users\ The Admin username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\ there is a folder called WebSite X5 - Evo and if the licence.iwl file is inside this folder.
If this folder exists and the file is there, copy the folder and paste it under c:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia and then start the program.
Thanks! Kind regards.
