Is it possible to change the default country on the form ? France is selected as the shop is in French , but by default , most customers will be in the French area of Belgium. If the customer forget to change the country , it will have an impact on the PayPal paiement process.
This is a risk that could easily be avoided by allowing a default country other than the one proposed

are you sure that paypal fees are different regarding countries/regions ?
For me not... You pay a fee regarding the amount of your order but nothing regarding the devise conversion ..
I do a mistake !

No , it does not affect the paypal fee , but it takes the country to proceed with the bancontact card which will be a belgian one - I am still testing, but I am concerned that most customers may not pay attention to the country field and change it -
The same problem when you have the dutch language selected, the default country is The Netherlands and the customer has to change it to Belgium.
Hello Claude
By default, the website will attempt to understand the default Country automatically according to the browser language and setting. It could be that, if perhaps the browser only specifies a French installation and not Belgian, that the country might not get selected by default
As of now, there is, unfortunately, no way around this. However, I've reported this so that a further improvement on this system might be considered
Thank you for your feedback
