Can't open the Project File

Hi, few hours before I closed a project and shut down my computer.
But now when I try to open same project, it shows error msg as path changed (Snap shot attached).
I have not changed the path. Folder remains at same place.
Further, same error comes when I upload using x5. It says folder not found. Do you want to create? When I say yes, it tries and says sorry. Try after some time. (I check using FTP client Filezilla that folder was actually in its place)
So problem is same. How does the path change by itself?
Thanks in advance!

Pratik, can you please open WX5 again and under preferences create a screen shot of the default location of your projects. Is this as you remember it?
Have you tried running WX5 as administrator (right click & run as admin)?

Hi,
Yes I ran it as admin. Project file I am able to open.
But when I try to upload, it says folder not found.
I verified using ftp client Filezilla that folder is actually there on server.
Snapshot attached for Preference as asked by you.
Kindly advice. Thanks
Pratik, what is drive H:? Is it a local drive? Is it an external drive (USB or network)? Is it google drive? Is it synchronised with the cloud?
When it says folder not found what makes you think this is related to the host rather than the source (H:)?
It sounds like a file lock issue caused by synchronisation/backup.

Hi,
Please note drive H: is Local file (Screenshot attached)
When we upload to server, what kind of Lock Issue can occur? Kindly explain
Thanks
Pratik, there are a significant number of reports concerning one-drive as it synchronises, but there have also been reported problems with backup software for the same reasons.
Could you test that you are able to create an iwzip file on the same drive (step 5, export project) and export to a folder on the same drive (step 5, export the website to disk), I am not convinced the issue is related to your hosting (step 5, upload website to internet) because you got locked out of your project and had to run as administrator (could be folder permission problems when exporting in preparation for ftp?).
Is drive H: shared with other users or logins perhaps?
How big is your project (size of project folder excluding backups) and how big when generated (size of folder when you export to disk)
Are you running 3rd party anti-virus/malware/firewall/vpn?

Hi, Yes I am able to export Project file and Website files to the same drive H:
Further, I found that old project files can upload to internet without issues.
Project file size is 656,757 KB
Website size is 273 MB
Drive H: is not shared with anyone.
I use quick heal antivirus.
At present, to upload site, I export website to hard disk. And then using ftp client Filezilla, upload to server.
Pls advice. Thanks.
I am now snatching at straws, my only remaing suggestion would be to temporarily uninstall or totally disable quick heal av.
If this works exceptions can be added.

I disabled the antivirus. But still the problem remains unsolved.
Anything else can I do?

Hello PRATIK
In your first message, you mention that " shows error msg as path changed "
But the actual message you posted says nothing of the sort. It says that the access to that path was denied
This is not an error of the software, but it means that either Windows itself or some other program is locking the files so that the software cannot access them anymore
This can be for a variety of reason, amongst which is antiviruses and similar like Esahc mentioned.
Additionally, make sure to run the software as Administrator to get full access privileges to the files. Try it like this and let me know if it helps
Thank you
Stefano
Pratik, one last suggestion to try. Since you have created an iwzip file, open WX5 and IMPORT your project using the iwzip. This will not overwrite your existing project!
Please advise if this resolves the issue.

Hi, it did not work.

One more screen shot
Pratik, you say you use filezilla, does the folder music7 exist? If not, can you create it with filezilla?
I note that when I go to your website (thetruejoy.in) the actual url is https://thetruejoy.in/music/index.html
ie music, not music7
On my host the upload folder would be https://thetruejoy.in/public_html/music?
I cannot create folders in the root directory (above public_html)
It is possible you (thru the control panel) or your host may need to make the root public to be able to create a new folder.
PRATIK, did you ever resolve the issue?
