Can you link a page anchor to a menu  en

I have a website that I have designed that has a folder with a home page that includes a meal menu on it but further down the page. What I would like to do is add the menu on the menu bar at the top of the page but link it to the area of the home page that shows the menu itself - and was wondering if this can be done by linking an anchor to the menu bar.

Is this possible or has anyone done this before please.

Cheers

It is possible - and I have done it here: https://bramminginfo.dk/arnbjergparken.html

I have also done it on other pages.

On the page where I gave the link to, I have several anchors as the page is rather long and I have therefore made a kind of sub-menu in the left bottom.

When openeing the "menu" and then hovering it, you can see the links.

One is this:

https://bramminginfo.dk/arnbjergparken.html#Anker_Musiktribune

As you can see the link is formed by the URL for the page itself and then a "#" and then the anchor name.

I have made an offset for the anchors.

I have made some code in the "statiscics and code" so when I have an anchor starting with the name:

Anker then an offset of 60px is set.

It is done with this: div[id^='Anker'] {top: -60px;}

This is very handy for my site where I have several hundreds pages. When I make an anchor all I have to remember is that the anchor-name should start with Anker - and then the anchor will have an offset of 60px. If I want no offset, then the anchor name should just start with something different from that.

I have made several suggestions for such an automation in X5. I don't really need it, as I just put the shown code in a style-section on the "Statistics and code" - BUT it could be a good thing for the X5-product.

I have one of my suggestion-posts here: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/fr/post/238608

I also have many anchors on this page: https://bramminginfo.dk/flugt-museum.html

I don't dare thinking of what trouble I could have if I did not have this "automated" possibility for offset for the anchors.

INCOMEDIA - I think it could be a great feature for many people if there was this possibility for automating the offset for anchors.

@Ross - I hope you got that your link should be the page-name followed by # and the anchor-name.

x Ross P., ...(It > En) ... ...you can use the level menu with sub-level and then assign the link to the Anchors, thus being able to take advantage of the fluid-soft Anchor as well, by simply clicking...

... > (Anchor) ...to avoid codes, you can place the Anchors logically in the line above the Anchored object...

... and in any case here you will also find my old original alternative solutions:

... in the forum you can also find my other solutions for Anchors with my original EXTRA codes...

... if you post the LINK of your page, maybe other ideas could come...

Thank you John and KolAsim for your help.

Now that the correct page is showing for the website the link seems to be working but will keep your comments of assistance in mind for if anything changes in the future.

I wish you both the very best for Christmas and the New Year ahead.

Thanks again.

Kindest regards

Ross
