Please, Please, Please

I would like detailed instructions installing version 2025.1.3.

Never had a problem until now. Have tried several different installs.

And yes, uninstalling and downloaded under my license, reboot, etc.

Also removing any incomedia folders I could fine. Have not gone into the registry yet.

Keeps asking for activation.

I have Admin and Donald as local account.

I want to run it on the local account.

Super irritating.

Detailed instructions please.

THANKS!

I recently downloaded the current version, Pro 2025.1.3, from "My Profile."

I launched the WebSite X5 installer and followed the instructions. I did not uninstall the program beforehand, nor restart the PC, nor delete any directories on the hard drive.

If you have any problems, wait for the Incomedia staff. They will ask questions and may want to see a screenshot of the error message.

Hi Donald,

what error message are you getting?

Do you have a VPN installed on your PC? If you do, please disable it and try again.

Thanks!

Ok, I have a CAD computer with a Xeon processor running the latest version of win 10. I have disabled Eset anti-virus. No VPN. Error message below. I'll try installing a 2024 version after work. Thanks

Hello Donald,
I am sorry about the issue.
What is the timing for this error exactly?
What is the current situation on the Donald profile, did you run the installer, but then when clicking the software's icon you are required to register again, or does this error cause the installation to fail without any icon being created?
Thank you.

Problem solved.

Uninstalled X5, deleted the Incomedia folder in Admin and Donald users AppData/Local.

Reinstalled under Donald Local Account putting Admin password as needed.

Exited out at end and did not start. Used copy and paste. Copied the whole Incomedia folder.

The "licence.iwl" file was in the C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Incomedia

C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local to C:\Users\Donald\AppData\Local

Thumbs up to Franz-Josef H.
