Issue with Project Visibility After Upgrade from pro2024 to pro2025

After upgrading from version PRO2024 to PRO2025, it is not possible to make any visible changes to a project created in the previous version.
While it is technically possible to modify content or add new elements, these changes do not appear when using the preview function. The modifications are visible within the page editor, but they are not reflected in either the preview or the published version of the project.
I also can't change the name of the old project
Has anyone else reported a similar issue?
I remember encountering a similar problem a few versions ago, but I don’t recall how it was resolved back then.
I would greatly appreciate any help with this, as I am currently forced to continue working in the old version despite having paid for the upgrade.

I am sorry about the issue.
Could you please temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall and open the preview by also pressing CTRL?
It will take a longer time to load, please let me know whether you do not see any changes even this way.

I don't have a antivirus or firewall.
When I press CTRL it's the same.
Could you please provide me with a copy of the project so that I may check whether the issue is related to the project itself or instead to your instance of the software?
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the “Export the project” option to generate an IWZIP file.
You can then upload the file with https://www.swisstransfer.com/ or similar services, and provide a download link at support @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).

I was not able to reproduce the issue, so there must be a local factor affecting this.
I have re-exported the project as an IWZIP on my computer, please follow these steps for a clean reinstall of the software and then import it, I sent the download link in a reply e-mail.
The folders to be deleted with these steps usually do not contain any projects, that by default are stored at C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro, but you can check the path you are using in the Preferences section in the start screen of the software, so that you can move the projects if necessary.
1) Uninstall the software normally, from the Windows panel.
2) Go to the path C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Incomedia and delete the folder corresponding to your version of the software (it should be WebSite X5 – Pro).
3) Go to the path C:\Program Files and delete the folder corresponding to your version of the software (it should be WebSite X5 – Pro)
4) Restart the PC.
5) With the antivirus and firewall temporarily disabled, run as admin the installer you can find here: https://www.websitex5.com/download/v2025.1/wsx5_pro.exe
I renamed it as "24_PL_AIR - 17-04" and made a small change, adding the words "Lorem ipsum" to the first Text object in the page WYMIANA POWIETRZA please check whether you see this change when previewing, and then test whether you are able to remove it and rename the project again.
