Comments and Ratings Object - I need help to set it up properly

I need help to setup the comments and ratings object properly. Is there a step by step proceedure available?
I especially need help in the "Data Save Settings" First choice is to send data to a File, and the other is send data to the database.
I would like it to go to the Database because I do not have a file for it on the server.
Do I need to set up a database? If so, how do I do this, or is this created automatically?

Two options:
A) When saving to a file, WebSite X5 automatically creates this file and places it either in the root directory or in the subdirectory specified as a write access parameter in "5 Export" for data management.
B) When saving to a database, the database access data must be entered as a parameter in "5 Export" for data management.

Which method do you recommed I use, saving to a File or saving to a Database so I can keep things as simple as possible? Thank you for your help.
Whether database or file is up to the user and his or her capabilities and preferences.
If you don't have a database or don't want to enter database parameters, you can select "File" as the save location.
If you prefer to save it in the database, select "Database" and enter the database parameters.
