Proper way to replace Home page with new one?

I have designed a "new" homepage - which I want to replace the existing one.
Whats the proper way to replace it - or should I just copy the objects and delete the old objects?

Hi Adrian,
thank you for getting in touch.
In order to set a new page as Home page, you need to click on it with the right mouse button and select the Set as Home Page option from the context menu. Please note a page which is currently under construction can't be set as home page, so you will need to set it as normal page first before proceeding.
