On starting program is failing to load home page, so I can not get updates.  en

I am using ver 2026.1.3 on windows 11.  On starting the program I am just getting the inital load screen.  The bar on bottom of page keeps scrolling and the Home Page fails to load.  I have tried a reboot and no luck.  I remember I made a modification to another program and change it back, did another reboot.  The program came up, but and said time to upgrade whicjh I did.  Upgrade started, however it stopped half way thru.  Now I cannot get anything.  I think I need a fresh install.

Here are instructions from Incomedia for a new installation, see

  1. Uninstall the software as normal using the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Incomedia and delete the folder that corresponds to your version of the software (this should be WebSite X5 – Pro).
  3. Go to C:\Program Files and, if available, delete the folder that corresponds to your version of the software (WebSite X5 – Pro).
  4. Do the same step under C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Programs and delete the WebSite X5 – Pro folder there if it exists.
  5. Restart the PC.
  6. With VPN disabled (if you are using one), antivirus and firewall, please run the installer...

To find the installation file, click on the user name at the top right and select “My Profile”.

Under “Download” there is the installer and under “License key” there is the license key for the installation.

If there is a problem with the new installation, then wait for the Incomedia employees, who will be online here in about 7 hours.

Zoals ik in mijn post van 16 april j.l. aangegeven heb, heb ik hetzelfde probleem.

Ik heb de Windows beveiligingsupdate KB5083769 verwijderd en dat was de oplossing.

Voorlopig dan want die update blijft je dwars zitten, maar je kunt bij je websites en backups maken.

Het is vreemd dat je WX5 nu ineens opnieuw moet installeren.

Ik behelp mij voorlopig in afwachting van een update van Incomedia, uiteindelijk is het opstandscherm ook niet zoals het moet zijn.
