Rudimentary "file share" on wsx5?

Hi,
I want to create a "secure" page where my colleagues and me can upload or download files (small files .doc or .xls).
So, some kind of rudimentary file share, no advanced options - but only the ability to upload or download files.
Is this possible in WSX5? If not, does anyone have an "ad-hoc" solution?

The "Dynamic Content" object in WebSite X5 allows only images, but no other files, to be uploaded and displayed by authorized users.
A PHP script would probably be needed here to enable file uploads and display the links to the uploaded files.
Perhaps there is a user who knows of such a PHP script or can provide one. However, this PHP script should also be sufficiently secure.
