As suggested here (Additional Image In The Menu Column, http://answers.websitex5.com/post/3056) I would like to ask for a possibility to use the menu column further.
I would like to place text and / or images below and / or above the menu so the menu column is not a lost part of the page.
I only see a use in the column version of the menu but maybe the horizontal menu bar can benefit of the same idea if it is created high enough.

Any chance of getting a free format menu column or do I have to switch to another tool?

OK, I will need this feature in autumn. Any chance of getting it.

I have tried implementing things with html a object in the header. This way you can get the pictures to overwrite the menu column.

Thanks, I tried this (see link in original topic) and it did not work for me.
Besides I think, it should be part of the tool. The tool is meant to make life easy isn't is? It is far too complex to start using html, using a div and absolute positioning to get multiple objects (which I need) in the menu column. If that column is only for a menu it is wasting space which can be used.
