Problems with activation  en

I installed website x5 v9 but when I try to activate, I receive the activation error 311: "The licence key entered, corresponded to aversion that has been upgraded therefore it is not valid". I also bought website x5 v10, and know I cannot open my projects made with versions 9 or 8. Please help.

thanks for your message.

Installing the new version, WebSite X5 Evolution 9 has been upgraded.

In order to activat this program again, I kindly ask you to follow the instructions given by the following post: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/25631

Please, remember that only projects created with version 9 can directly be opened and updated with version 10. Projects, created with version 8, firstly need to be converted into version 9.

I unistalled and re-installed the program, but when it launches the registration screen I receive the message "This program is damaged and needs to be re-installed."

So Icannot open it at all.

What do we do now?

I installed it and I receive the same msg. "This serial belongs to an upgrade version etc".

I CANNOT ACTIVATE THE PROGAM I HAVE BOUGHT!

PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

Hi Elias,

Unfortunately, if you have used your v9 license to upgrade to v10 at a reduced price then you will no longer be able to activate v9.

There are many posts on the forum regarding this.

Your profile is not showing you as a registered user of v9, therefore I assume this is what has happened in this instance.

I didi this and when I click on the link of the instructions webpage, I' m redirected to the My Licences page where at the top where there should be a number with the key, I see the msg "Generic Error" in a red box.

I did this more than once, in 2 different pc's and I always get the same error.
