Problem opening hyperlinks

Problem opening hyperlinks created in document texts. When creating a hyperlink in a text document that link takes 20-50 seconds to open in a preview or in the live site. Sometimes the live site reports scripts taking to long to open. Not sure where the problem is. I am using X5 V10 with latest updates.

Can you post a link to the website in question so we can take a look?
Does the page in question (the one which is slow to load) contain any social network plugins or similar? Such as AddThis...

Thanks, the website is www.lundytruth.com. Under the latest news heading on the home page their are two links to news sites offering a video feeds. The links do open but they take upto a minute to open and sometimes time out.
I have do nothing different with these links. Just hilighted the text and pressed the link button in the editor screen.
The same is true whe i add a PDF and want the viewers the option to down the file from a link. It is just too slow to open.
Any help would me greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys for your have, problem fixed. Have lost the webstats wheich is why i did not use the Shinystats in the beginning. Will try out the "http://www.x5forum.home-wiekau.de/counter_besucher.php" code once its being transulated to english and i understand it.
