Hello Joshua,

Just to confirm...  how large a sample of cellphones have you tried accessing your site on?

Can you post a link to your site?

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello Joshua,

if you are using the gallery object, remember that the flash galleries are not supported by some devices like the iphone. In this case you should use the HTML5 gallery.

If this is not your case, please provide us your link.

Thank you

A Flash gallery is a gallery created using Adobe Flash, and which requires a plugin for the same in order to render it.

Apple devices (iPad, iPhone, etc) do not have support for Adobe Flash, hence the pictures will not show on these devices.

In order to rectify the issue you can use the alternative HTML5 galleries, like Michele said.  This is the preferred choice nowadays as HTML5 galleries are much more compatible with end-user products.

You can switch the Gallery Type on the 'Style' tab of the Gallery Object Properties in Step 3  -  there are three HTML5 galleries listed towards the bottom of the drop-down menu.

PS: the issue with your Android phone might be an isolated one depending on hardware/software settings.

Kind regards,

Paul

since i only use images and not gallery elements what does it have to do with images not showing?  does it mean i should use my jpegs as gallery objects and place them as images? I have version 9 btw ... does 10 handle this differently?

thanks in advance ... still confused at the moment ... and yes all i want to do is for my images to show up under iOS ...

Hello Joshua,

Version 10 has gone even further by removing the Flash galleries altogether  -  all galleries in v10 are now rendered using HTML5.

If you are using the Image Object alone then your pics should show on iOS...  however, there is one caveat...  do you have the 'Protect Image against copy' checkbox ticked on the General tab in Image Object properties?  If so then your images will not display as I believe the protection mechanism uses Flash.

If possible try to access your site on some more Android devices so we can ascertain whether the issue is shared or confined to Apple products alone.

Keep us posted.

Best regards,

Paul
