Help!
I had a site constructed, using ver. 11, which uploaded to the web and onto disc without problem.
I recently upgraded to ver. 12 and coverted my original project (adding many more pages). Since then I have been unable to download successfully to disc/file folder and when uploading the web all files upload apart from the index/home page.
Looking at the directories on my computer it appears that, althoughthe index page is shown in the 'preview' directory it is missing from the upload directory.

When viewed on the web (doesn't have an index file so have to start with one of the other pages) it shows an error in the menu: html"> next to the home button (see attached image).
When trying to download to disc/folder the transfer sticks at 88% and then says that there is an error with illegal characters being used (by the program?).
Please, how can I get ver. 12 to upload my index file or find a way to work around it.

Hello Dave,

Your question appears to be the same as the one in this thread:

https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/130796

I'll close that thread now as there is more information on this one, and it's hard to keep track of issues on duplicate threads.

Please rest assured that if you don't bump a thread by posting a reply then Incomedia will usually respond within 24-48 hours.  However, their offices were closed over the weekend.

If you would like a response specifically from Incomedia (as opposed to the rest of the WebSite X5 community) then you can set this thread to 'Private' by clicking on the small padlock icon at the bottom right of your initial post.

If you have a URL that you can share with us in relation to the website which doesn't display correctly on the web then that would be helpful.

Hopefully we will get this resolved for you very soon.

Kind regards,

Paul

Thanks Paul.

Kept it public originally to see if others have had this problem too and that there was a simple solution.

Will now set to private.

Thanks again for your response
