Can not install Ver 13 Demo

Greetings Everyone, I've tried to install Ver 13 Demo to test but it gets hung up in the "loading Libraries" and then gives the message "Category does not exist".
Can anyone help?
I have the previous few versions installed and running ok.

doing the lodctr /r in dos:
I get the error:
unable to rebuild performance counter setting from fystem backup store, error is 5
Any ideas?
I can't see getting the new version if I can't use it.
