Expert section Problem on Version 13.1.5.16 (64 bit)  en

Hello,

WX5 does not update the custom code on Version 13.1.5.16 (64 bit)

Preview / index.html keeps showing the old custom code although
new code was added at The Expert section.

All the cache was cleared as well and WX5 keeps showing the old custom code.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you are uploading to correct folder?

Should you now be opening index.php perhaps?

If so delete index.html on server and upload directory.

You can check by going to http://www.yourwebsite/index.php or look in preview folder.

Good one Esahc,

maybe it's a good idea to check the date stamp of the file(s), this can give you also a good indication.

Try also to press CTRL while opening the preview and then export the website to see if then it appears the new code.

Thank you for all your replies.

Perhaps I have not made myself clear.

Example:
I add some custom code to the expert section.

<style>
.button1 {
  color: red;
  }
</style>

Then OK, SAVE, Preview

Output: The button is red.

Then I modify the code at the expert section.

<style>
.button1 {
  color: blue;
  }
</style>

Afterwards OK, SAVE, Preview

Output: The button is red.

I cleared all cache and checked the expert section again color: blue;

With reference to:

I did it (exported the website) but the new code is still  color: red;          ??? I have no idea

I think this issue could be a bug for current version. WX5 does not update the new code at the expert section.

I have not had that issue before.

That sounds very strange....

Do you have the websiteadress for us?

What was the color before the red chenge?

-użyj tylko np;CCleanera i będziesz miał to co zrobiłeś :)

WebSite X5 is Ok!

-Use only CCleaner and you will have what you did :)

The clear code on the html page, is always executed.
Post the Page LINK so that you can check it out.

(IT) - il codice in chiaro nella pagina html viene sempre eseguito.
Postare il LINK della Pagina in modo che si possa verificare.

Hello A. Go,

This issue should be solved in the new update which will be released soon.

If you press CTRL while opening the preview should update the code and then once exported it will be in any case necessary to clear the browser cache since it could happen the browser shows still the old content to save bandwith by using the internal cache.
