I am sorry - it us me again.

I repeat my posting here:

I would be grateful to know if Incomedia has had any further thoughts on instant digital downloads. See https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/pl/post/171137

If the purchaser is paying using the PaylPal facility (paypal or credit card) there can be no security problem.

At the moment is the purchase buys during the night (my time) he/she will have to wait until the morning for me to apporve it - which may be the middle of the night their time. It could be a 24 hours dely.

I would be interested also to see if colleagues has found this to be a nuisance or have found a way round it. 

I really really need this facility for our business - I am sorry - I do not need a work around. I need my customers to be able to put in their card details and to be able to download the digital product straight away. 

I have my own dedicated server and am satisfied about the security of what I am asking. WebsiteX5 does everything else I need except this. 

I really want to know when this is going to be implemented - after all, incomedia provide this facility for their clients. If it is not going to be implemented within the next month, I would ask colleagues to point m,e at a suitable alternative - everything that X5 does but wiht the advantage of instant downloads. 

WebsiteX56 does this - why can they not incorporate that facility into the package?

Unfortunately the digital download, as it stands, is practically useless. As a customer, I would not be willing to put in my credit card details and wait for a manual reply. I would expect an instant download - in exactly the same way as I get treated by the X5 website. 

If you can do it for you, you can do it for us.

I am getting a bit cross about this. If Incomdeia can allow instant dowloads - so should we be able to do this. Please enable us to do this. This is what customers exepct and the manual authorisation is rubbish. Please please please get this implemented straight aswy. If you can do it - we should be able to do it.

Incomedia - where is the answer to this please? Your customers would not be happy if they could not get instant download access. Why do you think my customers would be happy?

I confirm that your request has been reported and I can understand your frustration.

Please consider that there are many aspects that need to be taken into account for the introduction of a new function, technical as well as commercial ones. This implies the collaboration between many department of the company, thus the coordination of many different people and their tasks.

Because of this, unfortunately we cannot tell you for sure if and when a suggestion will be implmemented, but I will keep you informed as soon as I will receive some news about this.

Thank you for your reply. But it is, frankly, a load of rubbish.

Do you seriously think that Incomedia customers would be happy with the solution you suggest to us? Yes you can upgrade your incomedia product but you will have to wait until we have approved your payment. I think not. Your customers expect instant downloads and so do mine.

Your product is let down very sadly and very significantly by this. It can be sorted. So please dort it.

I am sure that our users would be happy for any software improvement, including your suggestion. I have already reported this one to the developers. As I was telling you, the technical department does not have any information about the possible features implemented in the future versions of the software. Then it jolly well should do. Are you not the same company? Is it a question of the eft hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

Your response (you company's response - not you personally) to very reasonable requests by customers for improvements - or at the very least, a timetable for them - is quite awful. I am very disappointed and will not be upgrading unti this comes about.

OK - complete disregard by websiteX5.

After many years being a loyal customer I had expected a little flexibility in return - or at least some encouraging comments. It seems you ignore all requests from your faithful customers and provide absolutely no positive feedback.

I regret I am now looking around for an alternative platform and can no longer recommend wesbiteX5 as I did in the past.

I think the request for digital downloads is about 2 years old. And still there is no good solution. As I mentioned before, i bought a good didgital download with instant download on x5Tuts

I see the following rubric on version 16 - does that mean that digital download can now be automatic?

"Send automatic email to your customers with a timed single-use download link inside to your digital goods."

I just cannot think what the problems is. Many other services provide exactly this service - as do you. You do kow what the frustration is and I cannot understand why your developers are not addressing this. 

We either have to go down a completely new track - which is a waste of our money having bought X5 - or is an add in cost.

I just find it such a shame that such a brillioant product, in many regards, is missing such an essential element.

I am sad :(

as I previously mentioned, the possible implementation of a new feature must be taken into consideration not only by the developers: you must always consider the technical aspect, but also the commercial, communication, marketing aspects related to it. Because of this, and because we receive many requests, we cannot implement a new feature right away.
