How do you delete the Entry page from appearing on Google  en

I have used the Entry page setting on a website but do not now require it but when I enter the domain name into the search bar it still goes to that page. The page file itself is not current in the hosting server file but still appears even though I have cleared the cache and cleared the dns cache on my computer.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

Ross, the entry page is normally index.php, assuming you have a file called index.html you simply need to remove index.php with the file browser in step 5, export to internet

If you do not have index.html, revisit step 1, settings, entry page and deselect show entry page.

Thank you Esahc and Claudio.

I have attached an image of my step 5 of the export as well as one of the index files on the hosting server for you to see what is set.

The website address is https://passengersandco.co.nz which loads as an old page with the sold out sign then goes to an old version of the home page.

The correct website appears when to use this address https://passengersandco.co.nz/index.html - should I be using this address in step 5 where it says Website Address (URL):

and below is the hosting server file manager files loaded.

Look forward to your further comments
