I have been so pleased Website X5 version 8. So today I got the offer to purchase version 10 It could not go wrong .... However, version 10 (10.0.08.35) is to go down just after selecting the new project and click next ... "thanks for the coffee and that's the end" .. Very boring story for the company which would otherwise have delivered some good products,,,, Yes yes, I ha rlæst all the suggestions from the support dept so is the network frame there is anything wrong with that, then it is IE, use either Google Croom, it's just much the going well down anyway .. So dear supplier of Websit X5 Ver. 10 have now resolved the problem for all of us who have the same problem it dies program, the same place for all of us ...... Regards Torben / DK

unfortunately we cannot solve Micosoft frameworks issues automatically but customers have to make a clean installation out of them.

You can follow this procedure (even if its written to be for Windows Vista you can use it for other Windows version):

Generally you should first use the cleanup tool from microsoft you can download from

You can also find many information about Microsoft framework clean installation on Google beacause our software is not the only one to depend on it.Hope this helps

Now I havedriventhis recipefacinghere three times.Butnow I haveeverything on mycomputercompletely updated,and all myprograms work, All Programs,but notWinsiteX5Ver.10, works, but however the WinsiteX5Ver.8just run fine.

Hello Torben,
If you installed again all the Microsoft Frameworks like I suggested, then there should be something else: could you please attach here the details of the crash report you get? When the software crashes a window is opened giving you the oppurtunity to view the details of the crash report in a tab.
With that report I can help you to figure out what's the issue.
May I also ask you if you send us the crash report when these happen?

the error message you get is from windows and so you wont be able to send a crash report because windows is not letting the program to start. This happens when a windows component, needed by the program, is not loaded correctly.
From the list above it seems that probably .NET 4.0 is not correctly working because it appears but not in the list of the installed frameworks.
Please try to uninstall only .NET 4 and then use again the cleanup tool to remove .NET 4.0 and then proceed to reinstall it again.
Once done restart the computer and then try to start WebSite X5 again.
Please keep me updated.
