Shopping Cart Available number of units Available 
Author: jason S.Shopping cart management is a huge issue.
I cannot find a way to be able to update or have the cart control the number of units I have available for sale. I already have the second from top edition of the program and run multiple sites outside of X5, but getting into the online direct sales game which is why I thought I would try this program. My biggest fear is having a thousand orders for something I only have 100 of in stock and ready to ship which would be very bad for business and reputation. How dificult would it be to have some sort of stock control available with this function? Is X5 likely to be updated with this function as part of the shopping cart, if not then I am not likely to use X5 for this purpose which is a shame because apart from this issue, it is put together okay.
Jason, Many users suggested stock control, more than a year ago (v10) but unfortunately it was not included in v.11. hopefully we will see that in v.12 (keep your finger cross)

I must say that is very disapointing. Outside of that one fault (and I will call it a fault) the program is good but is not being able to be used to its full potential. For such a simple oversight it is a very big draw back.
