I think I found a bug in orders process  en

Hi all, been working on the x5 v12 pro shop site and I think I have found a bug.  When looking at shipping options and selecting cost by weight, after adding a few weight categories I discovered that all are set at >= for each weight.  Isnt each added weight meant to factor in the one prior to it?  Eg  >= 2.00...$10       2.01>=4.00......$15.00   4.01>=6......$25.00

Instead of >= 2.00....$10     >=4........$15.00       >=6.....$25.00

at the moment it reads the first variable and only charges $10  and thats it regardless of weight totals (assuming it is taking preset weights in product items, this section was filled in).

Hello Jason,

Can you please send me the project (IWZIP file) so I can check the settings used to see why you experience this issue?

You can use the Link function on http://www.wetransfer.com to upload it online and then write me here the link to download it.

Many thanks!

It is late here, I will send some time tomorrow for you to look at.  This project is a clean project on a fresh install of v12 pro .  At the moment I have defaulted with only 1 flat postage rate (not ideal).  I assume that if you try the above in another installation it may show the same issue.  Try for example 3 diferent weight/pricing zones and see if it works in themeantime, but in my copy of the program when adding each weight/price, they are all the same variable operator => with no start digit on each so I think it is counting each variable as starting from 0 so the first one (being the lowest) is accepted and closes the operation.  I have not tested if it makes a diference if the order of weight is set from highest weight/cost to lowest weight/cost.

Hello Jason,

The weight system is meant to be used from which weight on you charge a different shipping cost. You need to set the cost from 0 and this is used until the next weight category where then the price is increased.

As example you set

>= 0 = 10

>=2,10 = 15

>=4,10 = 25

Many thanks!

Ah Thanks, will try and follow up shortly the way you have set above.   I am assuming weight is by kg and (or what ever we choose_ and accepts decimal points eg 1 (kg) and 0.5 = 500 grams?  Will update my success or failure when I have tried the above format you have supplied.
