Website X5 Evo11 Alignment issue
Author: jason S.Hi all,
created a simple website www.santapants.com.au using a Toshiba Satellite notebook computer. All alignment seems fine but others are having issues with elements displaying outside of the template text area. My pc fine, others not fine.
It has to do with other browsers maybe not running the predetermined screen res for this program but would have thought they would be dynamic (As in displaying via a % rather than fixed points, I am guessing mobile devices would have no chance). After running into issues already with x5 evo11 with no stock control in the shopping cart for this PAID edition of the program, I am giving it one last chance to be of some use to me but it doesnt seem to be working out that way. Anyone willing to test various browsers and platforms and reply with their results?
I do use a FREE sql sales/directory platform based program for another project of mine that is dynamic but thought I would give this a shot assuming that being a PAID for product that it would perform as implied with less issues.....maybe I was wrong....no wonder there is so much freeware out there outperforming paid software.

Thanks Pcssa, that page you posted should have the content objects further to the left inside the content box. Could you check the contact page and compare that to my pic (disregard the grid squares, thats from Microsoft Paint).
Some say that the content sits too far left, some say that it is to the right, on mine content is centered. I cant figure it out.

Sorry, forgot to add what the home page should look like for you to compare, pic attached.

Okay, update on this issue. Luckily I have a number of diferent devices and browsers to check these things on. On the laptop used to create the site, everything looked and as I'd like it. The issue is that several adjustments do not show up on the system sed to dreate the site but affects other peoples systems/devices.
It was a matter of having the content line up properly with the frame that was downloaded from the x5 website. A number of adjustents in the left border and also set the algnment right of center. It was a fair bit of mucking around but It is finally done (I think) but it was a case of making an adjustment, upload the site, check on the other devices and then back to making adjustments again until it was a correct fit.
Look forward if people are able to check the site out and tell me if each page appears to line up properly. This was done using x5 evo11 so there is no mobile device options, it was all a matter of working almost blindly until things lined up where they should.
As mentioned the built-in preview DOES NOT show these adjustments made on the pc building the site, the only way to do it is as I mentioned above.
