Using email form on mobile device/tablet?  en

I have successfully got my email enquiry form working on my website:

http://www.stauntonvalegundogs.co.uk/contact-us.html

However, it does not seem to work if the enquirer is using a mobile phone or tablet?  Is there any way of getting around this?  How can I make it compatible?

I think I am missing out on enquiries made this way.

Thanks

Hello Laura,

depend of the device that you use, try with a different device.

You can also try with a new project for test.

Let me know.

the point is, I can't dictate what devices people use to make enquiries from the site??!  And most people nowadays will be using tablets or phones.  the form clearly doesn't work if you use a mobile device (I've tried it from my own iphone) but does work from a pc...

I am missing out on enquiries as have no way of contacting these people that are trying to contact me, so I do need to be able to correct this with an operational email enquiry form - or remove it altogether, which seems a bit ludicrous?...

thanks

It doesn't work correctly as I am not receiving anything!! So you may have tested it and got an automated reply, but I just get a blank email sent to me, so can't see that you have enquired.  That's my point.  You think it is fine, as a potential enquirer and I am not getting the enquiry......

It is really a shame that nobody is able to answer this query successfully.  Does this mean that the email enquiry form just is NOT compatible with mobile devices, which are in common usage now, and that really I should just remove it from the website altogether to be safe, and not miss out on enquiries?

But it's not ME that is having the problem, it is other people!  They fill the form in on their phone or tablet, and all I get is a blank email.  They get the notification from me to say we will reply.  But of course we don't as we don't have their email address or message!!  Crazy.

I think I will just have to remove the form from the site if nobody can offer a solution.  But it seems stupid to have things that just don't work properly with mobile technology - which is what most people are using nowadays.
