Hello John,

Try to uninstall the font Bell Gothic Std from your computer in the windows font folder and then try to start the program again to see if then it works.

Please keep me updated.

Hi Claudio.  Uninstalling Bell Gothic Std did not work.  Neither did fresh installs of X5 10 and Pro.  When Win 10 upgraded, it placed a "shield" on the X10 icons (see attached) - not true for my new X5 11, which works perfectly.

Am posting this in case other ar4e encountering the same difficulty.

Best, John

Hello John,

The shield usually indicated the program has to be run as administrator.

After you remove the font, you got the same error or it was different?

When you reinstalled Version 10 di you install it as admin or as user?

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio. Sorry I'm late in replying.

Yes, everything - from install to launch - was done as administrator.  And I still received the same error message.

Thank you!

Hi Claudio.  I downloaded the file, ran a repair on C++, uninstalled Bell Gothic again, and got the same error message.  See requested screnshot.

At this point, since I've already purchased X11 Pro and it's working perfectly, I just don't have time to continue troubleshooting this issue.  Hope you understand/

Thanks for ALL your time and attention!

Hello John,

ok, if it was the same error, you can try to restore the standard Windows fonts on the pc and reinstall the font Bell Gothic Std, download it to another site or try in another PC.

Many Thanks
