Website error

I was doing a website preview, when all of a sudden the preview did not come up. I closed the preview window and the whole program just closed. when i tried to reload the website it gave me an error saying ' the specified project is in use or has not been closed correctly. Do you want to continue? then I say ok and an error notice comes up. An error occurred while loading Project. I even trid to load the backups but it is till giving me an error. This is an important website for me but I cannot access it. Is there a way to retroeve it?

Hello Etienne,

Does this error also occur if you reboot your PC and then attempt to reload your project in WebSite X5?

yes, I tried rebooting, but the same error accurs

When you say you 'tried to load the backups' can you confirm that you followed the steps described in this article, exactly as specified?

Can you please also try an older backup file if one is available, as this error message is often indicative of an issue within the project file itself.
