E-mail form not working in pro 12

sending from an e-mail form, created in pro 12 does not seem to work. i checked the manual but it looks it does not send mail? There fore i made a temp solution to answer for customers to pres a picture and a link opens a mail message, but the form i did put in there does not send mail? Please help.

You can try:
Sometimes the mail is not sent if a wrong or not existing mail is entered in the "Mail" field, this is a problem I have commented before, but never got an answer:

Let me update the story sofar. Ik did create the site with pro 11 and all worked fine. I bought pro 12 and imported the site and publish on the web. I received no mails annymore, so i checked it myself. Mail form did not work. Okay so i deleted all files from server, and updated the site fully. Still mail did not work. I think it could be websiteX5 or mail server having problem? I make a test site 2 pages with a mail form. upload it to my server and all works fine? Ok i delete the conatct page from my site, upload the new site without contact page. looks good. Insert the site in X5 and create a new page, name it contact and make an email form! Upload it to server and it soes not work? Does this mean i have to create a full new site in website X5 pro12 or what is going on, please help!
The site i'm talking about is www.digitaalweb.com (all in Dutch, check the contact page, i have deleted the mailform but maybe it is not php and how do i do this?

Did you use exactly the same settings for the Email Form Object in both cases? As in sender/user email addresses, email form script type, etc.? If not, can you specify what the different settings between the two forms were?
NB: you will find settings for the email form script type for each individual project at Step 4 Advanced Settings > Data Management > Email
I assume both the test site and your actual project site are located on the same server?

yes both sides where on the same server and had both the same settings in the email form. That was the exact way to check it. what i find strange is that when i make a new site with 12 pro it work and when i have a site imported from 11 pro it does not work?

Yes, clearly this should not happen. We will ask Incomedia to investigate further.

It may be that they would like to take a look at your version 11 project so that they can analyse it and diagnose the cause of the trouble. However, if that is the case they will advise you on exactly how to proceed.

Thank you for your answer, the problem is solved, and i'm very happy. The solution lay in the settings for mail got wrong somehow. Put it back to PHP and it worked straight away fine.
