Template element not showing in customisation options?

Hello Everyone :)
New to X5. Have purchased a template and can find no way to edit or remove the ugly black band along the top of the webpage. I can edit or delete the text that appears there (see attached image) but the black band itself does not seem to show anywhere in Website X5 Evolution 12 as an interactive edditable object.
Am I missing something? Suspecting that the black header bar is a css element that hasn't made it into the interactive functions of X5. I need access to it - and control over it - somehow. Can anyone help?

Solved it myself outside of X5. Had a big trawl though the handful of CSS files (no joy there surprisingly) and finally found how to make it vanish by editing the template index.html in Netbeans (with the html5 & CSS plugin installed).
So, no further help needed on this one.
