Does image editor work for anyone with Evolution 12?

I am testing the demo version of Evolution 12 on Windows 10. I cannot get the image editor to do anything. Am I alone with this problem?

You cannot change the size of the image. None of the resize functions work. I was going to make them all 4:3 but it does nothing. I have also tried other settings.
Ah, that one, yes that may need a very small explanation.
If you choose -for instance- square, then x5 knows you want to make the picture squra, but not what part, that you need to select.
Then move the square around, if it's to your liking click ok.
