How to Insert Facbook/Twitter/Pintrest Into the Footer/Header

So we have just a basic editor for the Header and Footer of the website, and we have all the wonderful twitter buttons and the like to add to webpages but nowdays the current trend is to have a fat footer bar with lots of additions in it. Is there any way of using the Twitter and facbook buttons in this area or indeed on the Main header even. This is so frustrating because i would like to add this stuff only once and have it available all the time.

You can include an icon and connect to fb, twitter and the other social. your button you can configure here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button#configurator

Hi thank you for your input but the point is that all this stuff is already in X5 so why can't we put it in the head/foot........

Generally most websites include the logo with a direct link like A. Kris suggested you instead of adding the social network object plugin which slows down the page loading because it will load all the required resources everytime.
