Can't make form code behave correctly  en

I'm busy rebuilding one of my sites and have come up against a problem with HTML form code. The code was generated by my autoresponder service and works perfectly on the home page of my existing site at www.liquidass.fr.

In X5, I created a text object, turned on HTML, and then pasted in the same code. When viewed in Preview mode, it is a disaster because there seems to be no way of making the form's borders invisible and the red asterisks which are supposed to be at the end of each field are displayed underneath to the left which makes 2 lines instead of 1.

I have compiled a PDF with screenshots and explanations. On the 3rd page of the PDF, the original form code has been added in plain text format so it can be copied for testing purposes.

I think I'm probably asking a bit much but if anyone would be willing to test it in a cell and see if these 2 issues are resolvable, I would be most appreciative.

I will have a look, but first another question, why not use the html object, it's better suited for this code because it's only code, no text is used, that probably will work better.

But I will have a go later on, sorry later on is already now....

it works in html object ! So use that one.

If you  have a combinatio of both or a small code then the text object can help.

be aware of the extra options on the left below in the html box !

goodluck. (dinner is ready so I'm off now :)   )

Well done André!

I never thought of using the HTML cell option and it works well, although I have yet to test the form itself.

I could not see how to centre the form on the page. Using the align command made the whole form centred (text, fields, asterisks) so that was no good. To solve the issue I changed the cell's left outer margin.

Thanks very much for coming to my rescue. :)
