FTP Address

I purchased X5 today and already have a headache with it. I get the FTP address from my host but I can´t find it anywhere on their site and neither are they helpful. I also have Filezilla but this also suggest I need the information from my host. I am not a computer wizz and thought this software would make life a little easier. Unfortunately it isn´t. I was given a "host lookup" where all information of my domain and other protocols are, but still no ftp address. Am I missing something?

Generally the addess is ftp://domainname.xxx The passwords and user name can be the same, (though not necessarily are), as to log into your hosting service.
I would log into my hosting account and see if I needed to set up an FTP account. In the control panels I have used it is an option a often see. If you do see that option it will create the logins, etc and typically show you what to are.
It can be pain to get the correct information from the hosting service. Perhaps if you mentioned the name of the hosting service in the post someone here already uses them and can better guide you through the steps.

I logged into my hosting account and finally found where I needed to go. Had to go to cPanel and from there choose FTP and so on. Created an account from there. So, thank you so much for your help`. Something simple but as mentioned, I´m not too good with these things. Thanks again.
